The Women in HealthCare Network (WIHCN) made a significant impact on International Women’s Day, March 8th, by contributing to a vital panel discussion hosted by the Association of Medical Students, Lagos. The event, themed “Barriers, Bias, and Bold Moves,” addressed gender bias in healthcare and society through impactful talks and discussions. Dr. Kemi Ogunyemi DHA, Vice-Chair of WIHCN, alongside Dr. Orode Doherty, Abiola Ayilara, and Boroji Osindero, provided expert insights, highlighting the need for bold leadership and collective action. Together, we strive to challenge the status quo and build a world where every woman can thrive.
