Testimonials From WIHCNβs 1st Annual Conference 2024

For me, the strongest message was the power of sharing our stories. Listening to the panelists was not only motivating but also comforting for those who may be facing life challenges and possibly on the verge of giving up. The power of storytelling is life changing. Everyone has a story, and we should value that story because only then will we feel comfortable sharing it. The messages were profound and inspirational
A big thank you to the visionary founding members for this great association. Also, a big thank you to all the members who were involved in planning such excellent first annual conference it can only get bigger and better. From the selection of speakers to the stories shared down to the DJ, it was a hit back-to-back. Thank you all. And I'm so glad I joined this association. Cheers to greatness.
I am still basking in the euphoria of an amazing conference. Coming from a singular experience of health workers' disharmony that I witnessed 16 years ago, that conference for me, is all shades of amazing. We are indeed better together!
I wouldn't have forgiven myself if I missed this. I actually shed tears during the Keynote Address. It was very touching.Β Indeed, the founders of WIHCN have started a great thing. #WIHCN2024 was a huge success
Stories of Struggles, Setbacks & Success. Women need Allyship, Sponsorship & most importantly Sistership. Do not be complacent by your silence
Beware of boxing everybody into the same box, because you may not know when you would box your helper into the same box of prejudice
You asked me where I am in terms of my career, and I say...I am not at the end. My greatest pride is to be able to lift others, as I have been lifted
Find that special thing in the midst of your pain, that has made you better. Hold on to your banisters - the people & experiences that made things happen for you
The best panelist I have ever witnessed. I'm so motivated. Thank you WIHCN for this
Huge congrats to the planning team and all featured guests... It's been an event marked with value and I'm enjoying it virtually
Picked up my lapel today because representation matters. Really insightful and interesting conversations and presentations
Greetings from the Medical Women's Association of Nigeria. With Dr Funmi Ige & Prof Nana Hawwa Madugu. Congratulations Women in Health Care Network WIHCN
What an amazing 1st WIHCN Conference. A huge well done to Dr Dupe Odunsi and all the Founders
So great to be in the room with so many mighty women. Leaders every one of us. This is a call to action!
Hearty Congratulations to Dr Mrs Elebute Odunsi and WICHN Board for the extraordinary success of today's summit. Thank you so much for inviting me & for the magnificent presentations, panel discussions, and connections established. Wishing everyone safe journey back to your destinations.
Can I just say that Dr. Nnenna Osuji blew my mind: I am wondering how such powerful women appear to have been hidden away from so many of us. WIHCN has unleashed a force and there is still so much work to be done that I am excited (can that be normal?). The energy in that could light up Lagos for a full month!!! Grace and more grace to us all.
Waooo! Great minds. I am a proud member. Congratulations!
So nice to see the delightful faces of all that day. Those of us that attended online were completely left out of the picturesπ!!! However, itβs wonderful sight seeing all the pics and reminiscing over the events of that day

At the conference , I had the honor of moderating the panel session on AI in Healthcare. We honestly didnβt want the session to end. So thankful to WIHCN for having me and for creating spaces where these conversations can thrive.

Grateful to share space with such inspiring women at the Women in Healthcare Network 2nd Annual Conference. Moments like these remind us why community, care and
connection matter always
I looked around that room and felt proud to be a Nigerian woman. I saw women who keep our country standing, Doctors, nurses, researchers, and innovators whose compassion is as powerful as their competence.

Β A special thanks to the host, Dr Modupe Elebute-Odunsi MBBS
MD FRCP FRCPath for organizing this amazing conference, and heartfelt celebration to the keynote speaker, Prof. Magda RosenmΓΆller whose words truly inspired us all. Being part of this powerful gathering has renewed my passion for healthcare and reminded me that real impact comes from breaking barriers and rising together , no matter who you are.
The sessions on collaboration and financial empowerment
were deeply inspiring, showing how women in healthcare can create greater impact when we share knowledge, support one another, and take bold, calculated risks. Iβm leaving this conference re-energized to lead with purpose, collaborate intentionally, and keep championing
spaces where women in healthcare can truly thrive.Β
